Julia Gosling

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Julia Gosling is a professional hockey player for PWHL Seattle. She has always had a passion for sports, excelling in both hockey and soccer, and competed in multiple high school sports. Now in the off-season, she enjoys coaching youth players and inspiring them to work hard toward their goals.
Gosling was drafted 6th overall by Toronto in the 2024 PWHL Draft and later selected by Seattle in the 2025 Expansion Draft. A 5'11" power forward, she starred in the NCAA at St. Lawrence University, where she served as team captain and was a two-time ECAC All-Star, finishing her collegiate career with 128 points in 111 games.
She has represented Team Canada at both the U18 and senior levels, winning gold at the 2019 U18 World Championship and the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship, as well as silver at the 2025 Women’s World Championship. She was also an alternate at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, where Canada captured gold.
Known for her size, powerful shot, and strong two-way play, Gosling is regarded as one of the top young forwards in the women’s game. She is passionate about giving back to her community and helping grow the sport by making a lasting impact on youth.
